Students wishing to obtain funding towards taking a B.Th. with Kings Evangelical Divinity School may now apply for The Grafton-Holt Scholarship Award for Eschatological Research. The new award was set up by former KEDS student Paul Grafton-Holt and his wife Cynthia, who are providing this scholarship grant to help someone formally study the Word of God. Paul became KEDS first student to complete the B.Th programme and receive his degree in 2009 at the annual awards ceremony in Wales. He is now conducting research for his M.Phil at the UWL by examining Lukes perspective on the eschatological view of the intermediate state. Full details of the fund and application information is available on the scholarships page.
We are grateful to Paul and Cynthia for helping KEDS students in this way, and we wish him well as he continues his postgraduate studies at Lampeter.

From this Summer King's Evangelical Divinity School (formerly Midlands Bible College and Divinity School) now offers a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Theology, with a special focus on Evangelical Theology, by distance learning. The programme is accredited by the University of Wales, Lampeter. This full-time and part-time (minimum one year, maximum three years) postgraduate degree is available from 31 July and students may start at any time during the calendar year.
The postgraduate Theology programme is a taught Master's degree allowing students to select study areas of particular interest in theology. The substantial thesis element also enables students to undertake an extended area of research and writing in the subject of their own choosing. The MA degree course as a whole offers scholarly academic studies that develop students' understanding of important aspects of Evangelical Theology.
